Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to what families usually ask.

Most families are matched within 5–10 working days. Timeline depends on helper availability, training completion, and your specific requirements. We’ll give you an honest estimate during your first WhatsApp chat.
Both. We carefully match each helper’s background, training, and personality to your family’s primary need — whether that’s caring for a senior with mobility challenges or looking after young children.
We work with Indonesian and Myanmar helpers. Indonesian helpers speak fair little English, are warm and culturally adaptable, and can handle pork dishes (though they don’t eat pork themselves). Myanmar helpers are gentle, patient, and particularly suited to eldercare.
No. Since COVID, we deliver helpers directly to your home. We handle screening, training, and paperwork remotely so you can focus on preparing your household.
Every helper completes 3–7 days of in-house training covering Singapore home cooking, infant safety, English/Mandarin phrase basics, and cultural acclimation. For eldercare specialists, we also collaborate with Singapore hospitals to provide hands-on hospital training — mobility transfers, bedside care, and medication awareness practiced in real hospital settings.
New Days partners with Singapore hospitals to send selected helpers (especially those preparing for eldercare placements) for in-ward training. Helpers shadow medical staff, learn correct mobility transfers, bedside care techniques, and medication awareness. This makes a real difference for families with seniors recovering from surgery or living with chronic conditions.
We offer unlimited replacements during the first 6 months. If the match isn’t working, let us know and we’ll find a better fit — no extra placement fee.
Pricing depends on helper experience, nationality, and scope of work. We’re transparent about agency fees and monthly salary expectations. Message us on WhatsApp for a clear quote tailored to your household.
Yes. Our license number is 22C1356, issued by Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower. You can verify us on the official MOM registry.
Beyond your primary need (eldercare or childcare), helpers handle home cleaning, laundry, basic cooking, marketing/groceries, and household errands. Full scope is agreed upfront.
Yes. Many families adjust scope over time as household needs change. Just let us know and we can guide updates with the helper.
